Buildings of Savannah guidebook receives NEA grant
The Buildings of Savannah, a new guidebook to the city that is part of the Buildings of the United States series produced by the Society of Architectural Historians, has received grant support from the National Endowment for the Arts. The book is being written by five departmental faculty members: Robin Williams is the lead author and editor, with David Gobel, Patrick Haughey, Daves Rossell and Karl Schuler serving as co-authors. The grant will also support public lectures and walking tours in Savannah by the authors and involving the participation of students in the department. See the SAH announcement in their July 2013 newsletter.
