Amazing Discovery of World’s Oldest Temple Complex

An article published this week in Newsweek reports the amazing discovery of a temple complex in southern Turkey — in fact, numerous temples — dating to 9,500 BCE, making them the oldest known man-made structures.   More significantly, the discovery challenges conceptions about the origins of urban civilization, suggesting that the urge to worship, and not the domestication of animals, led to the creation of the first towns.  Click here to read a copy of the article: History in the Remaking.
