Brooke Hodge lecture on Fashion and Architecture attracts huge audience

Design writer and curator Brooke Hodge delivered a fascinating lecture on “Skin and Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture” to an audience of at least 800 people at the Trustees Theatre last night (even filling much of the balcony).  Trained with an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in her native city of Kingston, Ontario, and a Master’s of Architectural History from the University of Virginia, Hodge analyzed the manner ways in which fashion designers and architects have historically tackled design problems in remarkably similar ways.
