Interview with Travis McDonald from Jefferson’s Poplar Forest

Half a dozen Architectural History students, along with department chair Dr. Robin Williams, met with Mr. Travis McDonald, Director of Architectural Restoration at Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, last Wednesday for an informal interview to learn about Mr. McDonald’s experiences as an architectural historian and preservationist.  Trained with a Master’s of Architectural History from the University of Virginia, he has worked at Poplar Forest for the past two decades.
